Photos from London, part II

The Globe via Blushed Tapatia{I felt giddy and overwhelmed when I had the chance to visit Shakespeare’s Globe – I wanted to take in all that this gorgeous and unique theater has to offer.}

I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas! During my time off I was finally able to sit back and really process my very last minute trip to England that I went on at the beginning of the month. As the years go by it gets harder and harder to go on family trips so being able to explore the gorgeous city of London alongside my siblings and my mom felt like an absolute blessing! I posted the first part of my trip here but I wanted to share a few more photos and show you why London has made it into my top 3 favorite cities in the world.

Roman bath house via Blushed Tapatia{The architecture and history in the city and surrounding areas are truly astounding. I often caught myself staring wide-eyed and imagining what the world was like so many years ago when those structures were first erected *does anyone else do this?*. The photo above is from one of the oldest Roman bath houses in the world in a town called Bath.}

{Our entire trip I felt like  a modern version of Snow White. London animals are truly the friendliest but their squirrels won me over; I am not exaggerating when I say that I tried very hard to come up with a plan to bring one home with me}

Tower Bridge via Blushed Tapatia{A crisp morning walk with a hot latte in hand and Tower Bridge ahead}

{The unique Christmas decorations on Carnaby street are so incredibly cute that I bumped into quite a few people while walking since I could not stop from gawking up at the gorgeous little birds!}

Tea time via Blushed Tapatia{Notting Hill inspired me to paint my future home blue & red and to always make time for tea-time}

In a few days we managed to squeeze as much life, history and culture out of London and I am proud to say that I can now speak in a very convincing British accent!

Friday Favourites

Christmas in Toronto via Blushed Tapatia{Our neighborhood covered in a beautiful blanket of snow}

This week has been full of little joys and a thrilling excitement for the few days to come. With Christmas quickly approaching I find myself thinking of my family back in Mexico and my lovely sister in Denmark. It’s difficult to be away from her this time of the year but I know that she is very happy and loved and is slowly conquering the hearts and stomachs of every Dane with her delicious pastries. Last night my mom took me out for a Dinner and Show date, like we used to do when I was younger, and tonight Mike and I will be going to see The Nutcraker- two amazing nights, one after the other! Hope you all have a lovely weekend and enjoy time with family and friends.
